Barney von Cheviot is the most adorable 3 month old Retriever/Newfoundland/Shepherd mix we could ever imagine. We really aren’t sure what he is but he is beautiful and so sweet. He looks like he is black, but he is actually a super dark brown. He gets along well with the two long haired German Shepherds in his foster family. Barney likes water and ended up in the pool several times. He is a quick learner and is doing really well on housebreaking. He is having a harder time learning not to teethe on your ankles and bathrobe. In the morning he is attached to his foster mom’s bathrobe, she just wants her coffee and Barney is happy to be dragged along. He sleeps next to the bed all night in a wire crate, he doesn’t make a peep. Barney is big boned and packs away the food, we imagine he will be a good sized boy with a fuller coat. He is the most adorable baby, it is just fascinating to watch him, and everything he does is so cute!
